Malawi

Travellers here are often amazed at how different Malawi is from neighbouring Central African countries and how much variety there is in this small nation.

Lake Malawi in the east of the country is the most prominent feature, nearly 600 km. long and up to 100km. wide and is considered Africa’s most beautiful lake.

Whilst Malawi might not have the quantity of game of Zambia or Botswana, the game areas it has are superb.

Although generally not considered by first time African travellers, Malawi will appeal to the adventurous looking for somewhere ‘off the beaten track’ with an eclectic mix of experiences in a country with the friendliest people in Africa.
